Pusher/Door Opening Car-inter Locking System for Coke Oven

The Pusher/Door Opening Car Inter-locking Sensor System consists of a high powered transmitter and a high amplification receiver.
It has been developed for the detection of the opening of the cell doors that occurs when the Pusher and the Door Opening Car arrive at the same cell.
The opening of the cell doors allows the microwave beam to travel through; interlocking the activation of the Pusher’s movement.
This Microwave Sensor can be used in place of Gamma Ray (Nucleonic) Sensors. There is no need for official approval or special licenses, and it is economical as well.

Special Features

  • Super Long Range (calculated value: 4,000m)
    The combination of a high powered transmitter (100mw) and a high amplified receiver (Heterodyne detection method) results in a super long range.  Consequently the microwave beam from the transmitter can go through the narrow space under the ceiling of the coke oven cell and reach the receiver.
  • Rotary microwaves eliminate false detection
    When rotary microwaves are reflected off a wall of the cell their direction of rotation is reversed. The receiver is tuned to reject spurious reflections according to their rotation. False actuation caused by reflected waves is thus eliminated.
  • Unaffected by adverse environments
    The sensor is unaffected by surface contaminants, flames, steam, vapor or airborne  particles.
  • Simple beam alignment
    Easy initial beam alignment at installation, due to the wide beam angle.
  • Selectable detection mode
    Either broken beam (BLOCK)or unbroken beam (UNBLOCK) detection method may be selected.
  • Power level & sensitivity indicators
    The received power level and the sensitivity-set-point are indicated on the receiver by a bank of 15 LEDs , allowing for easy visual adjustment  and maintence of the sensors.
  • Analog output
    The receiving power level is output as an analog current (4-20mA).It also performs as a self-diagnostic function; constant monitoring of the receiving power level ensures early detection of any malfunction of the sensor
  • Solid state output
    Highly reliable solid state output relay minimizes mechanical failure.
  • Enclosure rating IP65 equivalent
